By replacing ring dies of different specifications, the production line can produce pellet feeds with different particle sizes, ranging from 0.5 to 10 mm, to suit the mouthpart structures and feeding habits of different fish. For example, tiny pellets of 0.5 to 1 mm are produced for fry to facilitate feeding; 3 to 5 mm pellets are produced for adult fish (such as grass carp and carp); and soft pellets are produced for shrimp and other crustaceans to avoid damaging their mouthparts.
