What significant benefits have been brought about by the application of large-scale extruded feed pellet production lines?

Large-scale extruded feed pellet production lines enable "batch, continuous, and stable" feed production, automating the entire process from raw material processing to finished product packaging, thus avoiding the efficiency bottlenecks of traditional small-scale workshop production. For farms and feed companies, increased efficiency means quickly meeting the needs of large-scale farming, reducing waiting time, and ensuring consistent feed quality for each batch, laying the foundation for efficient subsequent farming operations.

Three aspects

First, the fully automated floating meal production line reduces labor and increases production speed. Traditional small-scale equipment requires manual feeding, weighing, and packaging; a slowdown in any step can halt the entire production line, with three people producing a maximum of 5 tons per day. Large-scale production lines, from raw material input to crushing, mixing, puffing, cooling, and packaging, are all automated, requiring only one person to monitor the equipment. They can produce 50 tons per day, increasing efficiency tenfold. For example, a feed company previously used five small puffing machines, producing 20 tons per day; after switching to a large-scale production line, they produced 60 tons per day, reducing the number of workers by eight and halving labor costs.

Second, continuous production avoids interruptions and meets the needs of large-scale farming. Small-scale equipment requires stopping the machine for cleaning and mold changing after each batch, resulting in interrupted production more than ten times a day. Fish meal pellet production lines, however, have specialized cleaning systems and rapid mold-changing devices, allowing for continuous production for 8-12 hours without interruption. Furthermore, mold changeover time is reduced from one hour to 15 minutes. For example, when supplying large-scale aquaculture farms, where a farm needs 30 tons of fish feed at a time, small-scale equipment takes three days to gather enough, while a large-scale production line can complete the task in one day and deliver it on the same day, preventing feed shortages from impacting fish growth.

Furthermore, "stable quality" reduces farming risks and indirectly improves farming efficiency. Large-scale fish feed pellet making production lines have intelligent monitoring systems that control temperature, pressure, and rotation speed in real time. Each batch of feed has consistent expansion and water resistance, eliminating the inconsistent quality seen with small-scale equipment. Using this feed, fish and shrimp consume it evenly, resulting in uniform growth rates, preventing uneven growth. For example, in a certain shrimp farm, when using small-scale equipment feed, the size difference of the shrimp was 2 centimeters. After using large-scale production line feed, the difference was reduced to 0.5 centimeters. When they were put on the market, they could be sold according to uniform size and could be slaughtered 5 days earlier, greatly improving farming efficiency.
