Simultaneously, the extruder speed should be adjusted to 300-320 rpm and the temperature to 120-130℃ to prevent overfeeding and die blockage. When producing 3mm adult fish feed, the feed rate can be increased to 150-180kg/hour, and the extruder speed adjusted to 320-350 rpm to ensure thorough cooking and extrusion of the material, resulting in uniform particle formation. After adjustment, sampling checks should be performed every 10 minutes to prevent feed fluctuations from affecting quality.

 

 

Medium-sized feed mills (300-500 kg/hour): Variable frequency speed control extruder for precise feed quantity control

Twin screw floating fish feed pellet extruder (screw diameter 85-95mm) features a variable frequency speed control feeding system for more precise adjustment. When producing 3-5mm adult fish feed, the feed rate is adjusted to 300-350 kg/hour, with the extruder pressure at 4-5 MPa and temperature at 140-150℃. When producing 5mm large fish feed (such as bass and tilapia feed), the feed rate can be increased to 400-500 kg/hour, while simultaneously increasing the extruder pressure to 5-6 MPa to extend the maturation time of the material in the extrusion chamber, ensuring compact pellets with strong water resistance. During adjustment, the extruder parameters and feed rate are monitored in real time by a PLC control system for dynamic matching.
