In the raw material storage stage, production lines are typically equipped with a variety of silos to accommodate different types of feed ingredients, such as corn, soybean meal, vitamins, and minerals. Silos are typically constructed of stainless steel, which offers excellent corrosion resistance and ensures safe storage of raw materials.
Subsequently, the grinding process is a crucial step in feed production. Fully automated small-scale feed production lines are equipped with efficient grinders that quickly pulverize large raw materials into fine powder, increasing the surface area for easier mixing and digestion. Modern grinders typically use hammer or knife milling technology, which can be adjusted to suit the characteristics of different raw materials to ensure optimal grinding.

After mixing, the feed enters the pelleting stage. The pelletizer presses the mixed feed ingredients into pellets under high temperature and pressure. Pellets are not only easier to store and transport, but also increase animal feed intake.
Pellets require cooling during storage to reduce the temperature and prevent mold. The cooler uses air or water cooling to quickly cool the feed, preserving its nutritional integrity.
