What Could Be Causing Fish Feed Production Equipment To Suddenly Stop Working?

content

The first step is to check the "electricity," as this is the most common cause. Check if the main power supply has tripped, and if the socket is loose. Unplug the plug, plug it back in firmly, and then turn the power back on. If the fish feed extruder machine has an overload protection switch, it may have tripped due to excessive load. Press the "reset" button on the switch, wait 3 minutes, and then turn the machine back on.

The second step is to check the "feed." Feed stuck in the floating fish feed machine can also cause it to stop. First, disconnect the power. Open the feed inlet cover and use a wooden stick to pry apart the feed. Check for large stones or metal pieces blocking the feed screw; if found, remove them with needle-nose pliers. If the feed has hardened into lumps blocking the machine cavity, pour warm water on it to soften it, and then carefully clean it.

The third step is to check the "mechanical components." If the first two steps are fine, check the drive belt. If the belt is too loose, it will slip and not turn. Use a wrench to loosen the motor's fixing screws, push the motor forward to tighten the belt, and then tighten the screws. If the belt is worn out, replace it with a new one of the same model. Remember not to install it backwards.
