Causes and solutions for failure to discharge
Feed pellet machines may encounter problems with not discharging materials during use, which may be caused by a variety of reasons. In order to help users better solve this problem, we list the following possible reasons and corresponding solutions:
Blockage problem:The feed inlet or agitator of the feed pellet machine is blocked and needs to be cleaned in time to ensure smooth flow.
Raw material problem: The die hole of the pellet machine is blocked and measures need to be taken to clear it to restore the discharge function.
If the moisture content of the raw material is too high or too low, it will affect the formation of the pellets and needs to be adjusted to an appropriate range.
Grinding disc and roller problem
If the gap between the grinding disc and the roller of the feed pellet machine is improper, the matching is unreasonable or the wear is serious, it will lead to no pellets, which needs to be checked and adjusted.
Long-term non-use problem: For feed pellet machines that have not been used for a long time, the grinding disc and roller may affect the pelleting due to rust and need regular maintenance.
New machine problem: The new machine did not use lubricating oil fully during the run-in, or the run-in was insufficient, resulting in rough, uneven or non-vertical apertures, which affected the pelleting. It is necessary to re-run and check the aperture.
Crushing degree problem: The material is not fully crushed, the particles are too large, and it cannot be pelletized by the pellet machine. It is necessary to ensure that the material is crushed to an appropriate size.
Voltage problem: Check whether the voltage is stable. Voltage fluctuation may affect the normal operation of the pellet machine.
Operation problem: The operator needs to be familiar with the performance and operation method of the feed pellet machine to avoid the phenomenon of no pellets due to improper operation.
