Particle breakage and poor water resistance: Parameter and formula optimization. The core cause is excessively low extruder temperature (<80℃), insufficient starch gelatinization, or insufficient starch content (<25%). Solutions: Increase the wet dog food maker machine temperature to 85-100℃, adjust the pressure to 3-4MPa, and extend the material maturation time; optimize the formula, increasing the proportion of corn flour and wheat flour to 25%-30%, and perform a simple coating treatment after extrusion to improve particle stability and prevent rapid breakage in water.

Often caused by excessively high raw material moisture content (>35%), excessively coarse particle size, or premature mixing of oil into the material.
