Floating Fish Feed Pellet Machine and Twin-Screw Production Line: Models, Prices and Process
1. Applications
This twin-screw extruder line produces aquatic feed - floating and sinking fish feed, shrimp feed and expanded biological feed - and can also produce dog, cat and bird food by changing dies and formulations. Applications include adult fish feed, carp feed, grass carp feed, prawn and crab feed, tilapia, trout and salmon feed.
2. Process Flow
Mixer → twin-screw extruder → air conveyor → dryer → hoister → flavoring machine → cooler (packing machine optional). Raw materials - corn flour, fish powder, meat powder and a few feed additives - are combined, extruded, roasted and flavored into the finished puffed feed.
3. Model Parameters (Typical)
| Model | Installed power | Power consumption (running) | Capacity |
|---|---|---|---|
| 70 | 90 kW | About 50 kW | 200–250 kg/h |
| 85 | 120 kW | About 90 kW | 800–1000 kg/h |
| 95 | 180 kW | About 120 kW | 1500–2000 kg/h |
Installed power is the configured motor total; running consumption is the actual average draw. Confirm the data sheet with the supplier.
4. Intelligent Control and Traceability
PLC programming with a touchscreen interface; workers set crushing particle size, mixing time, pelletizing temperature and cooling time.
Real-time data collection (current, temperature, output) with visualization charts.
Automatic alarm and emergency measures (shutdown, raw-material cutoff) on abnormalities.
Batch data storage and traceability: raw-material sources, production parameters and test results per batch - supporting quality control and food-safety compliance.
5. Price and Safety
A typical configured line is quoted around US$38,000 (example - depends on model and scope; request an itemized quotation). Safety: the extruder operates at high pressure and temperature; disconnect and lock out power before maintenance, and keep hands clear of moving parts during operation.
