Fish, shrimp, crab, and other aquatic animals can be fed both floating and sinking feed pellets thanks to the fish feed manufacturing machine and inflation production line.

With modifications to temperature, moisture, formulation, and molds, our twin screw extruders can create feed sizes ranging from 2 to 12 mm that are both floating and sinking.

Product advantages
High-temperature pelleting is a core step in ensuring feed safety in aquatic feed pellet production lines. During pelleting, the extrusion process between the ring die and rollers, combined with steam conditioning, raises the feed temperature to 85-95°C. This effectively kills harmful microorganisms such as Vibrio and mold that may be present in the raw materials, reducing the risk of enteritis and gill rot in aquatic animals caused by consuming contaminated feed. Furthermore, high temperatures destroy anti-nutritional factors in the raw materials, such as trypsin inhibitors in soybean meal, reducing their potential to hinder digestion and absorption by aquatic animals. This ensures that the feed is both safe and hygienic, and more easily digestible and usable by aquatic animals.
