What are the preparations before starting the feed extruder?

                     Before starting the feed extruder, check the fasteners to ensure they are not loose. Ensure that steam and water can be supplied normally. Make sure the power supply and electrical appliances are normal. Open the steam valve and preheat the expansion chamber to a temperature of about 100 degrees. Start the equipment: start the conditioner and start the feeding auger. When the material flows out from the outlet of the conditioner, start adding steam to the conditioner. When the material is tempered, start the main motor and add steam to the puffing chamber. With a small amount of water, the material is fed into the puffing chamber at the same time. After the material is extruded, the puffing effect and moisture content of the product are adjusted.

                  After the production comes to an end (that is, there is still material in the raw material bin), the machine needs to be stopped. The stop sequence is: feeding auger, conditioner. Then wait until the host current indication value on the electric control cabinet changes to the no-load current value, stop the main motor and oil pump motor, and then quickly disassemble the tail section expansion chamber for cleaning. After cleaning, apply grease on the main shaft and the inner wall of the screw head ( After using grease for feed), reinstall it and wait for the next startup.
