Packaging: Bags should be filled to the brim (e.g., 25kg per bag, with an error margin of no more than 0.2kg). Do not overfill (overfilling will result in losses) or underfill (underfilling will lead to complaints); empty bags should be recycled. Use those that can be reused, and sell the unusable ones as scrap. Do not waste them.

 

2.Reduce Energy Consumption (Electricity, Steam)
Machine Usage: Production line equipment (crushers, mixers, pelletizers) should be operated in the "start first, then stop" order, for example, start the cooler first, then the pelletizer, and finally the mixer to avoid idling and wasting electricity; turn off unused machines promptly, do not leave them running continuously;
Steam Utilization: The hot water generated after using steam from the extruder and pelletizer should be collected for raw material drying or equipment cleaning, eliminating the need to reheat cold water and saving fuel.

 

3.Rational Raw Material Procurement: The production line calculates the required raw materials in advance based on orders. For example, if 100 tons of grass carp feed are needed next month, it calculates that 35 tons of corn and 20 tons of soybean meal are required. Procurement is then centralized (buying in bulk allows for wholesale pricing, which is cheaper than buying in small quantities). When storing raw materials, frequently used materials (such as corn) are placed in silos close to the production line, while unused materials are placed in warehouses further away, reducing transportation distance and saving on handling costs.

 

 

 

 

1. Regular Equipment Maintenance: Before starting the machine each day, check the hammers of the crusher, the ring die of the pellet mill, and the fan of the cooler. Replace worn parts promptly and repair any faulty parts immediately-if the machine is working properly, it can run continuously without delays due to repairs. For example, if the ring die is clogged and not repaired promptly, the production line may stop for 2-3 hours, resulting in a loss of several tons of feed.

 

2.Optimize operational processes: Arrange production line steps in a time-efficient sequence. For example, while raw materials are being cleaned, crushed raw materials can be mixed, and the mixer can be ready simultaneously-avoiding waiting for one step to finish before starting the next, saving 10%-15% of time. Simultaneously, train workers to operate the equipment proficiently; for example, mixing workers should weigh ingredients quickly and accurately, and packaging workers should bag them quickly, avoiding dawdling.

 

3. Adjust production capacity according to demand: During peak fish farming seasons (e.g., summer), fish farms require more feed, so the production line operates at full capacity (e.g., 16 hours per day) to produce more feed. During off-seasons (e.g., winter), demand is lower, so reduce production line operating time (e.g., 8 hours per day) to avoid producing too much feed that accumulates in warehouses, tying up capital and warehouse space.
