Does Assembling A Small Feed Granulator Machine Require A Lot Of Effort?
Leave a message
Understanding the structural characteristics of the reinforced components is a prerequisite for assembly. The screw of the cattle and sheep feed pellet mill features a high-shear design, with a screw width 20% wider than that of ordinary pellet mills. The pressure roller surface has anti-slip patterns; these designs enhance the compression effect on coarse fibers such as straw. Before assembly, it is necessary to familiarize yourself with the structure of these components individually. Touch the screw edges and pressure roller patterns to feel the installation direction and avoid incorrect installation, which would cause the equipment to malfunction.
The key to assembling the core components lies in gap adjustment. The installation steps for the barrel and screw are similar to those of ordinary pellet mills, but the gap needs to be adjusted to 0.2-0.4mm, slightly larger than that of ordinary pellet mills, to accommodate the processing requirements of coarse fiber raw materials. A special feeler gauge can be inserted to measure and ensure uniform circumferential gap. The installation of the pressure roller is the core difficulty in assembling the pellet mill for cattle feed. The pressure roller shaft must be precisely aligned with the bearing seat. After installation, adjust the gap between the pressure roller and the ring die to 0.3-0.5mm. Too large a gap will result in insufficient material compression, while too small a gap will accelerate wear. During adjustment, rotate the pressure roller; it should rotate smoothly without any obvious jamming.
The feeding system assembly needs to be adapted to the characteristics of coarse fibers. The feed extruder pellet machine has a larger feed inlet and is equipped with an electromagnetic vibrating feeder. During installation, ensure that the feeder is aligned with the feed inlet, and tighten the connecting bolts in a diagonal sequence to avoid material leakage or vibration deviation during feeding. After assembly, conduct a load test by adding crushed straw raw materials and observing the pellet formation. If the pellets are loose, the gap between the pressure roller and the ring die can be appropriately reduced. As long as the key challenge of adjusting the pressure roller and gap is overcome, the assembly of the cattle and sheep feed pellet machine can be successfully completed.
