During the working process, the feed enters the extruder through the feeding system. The starch in the feed is gelatinized, the protein is denatured, and the cellulose becomes easier to digest. Next, the feed is rapidly expanded after passing through the extrusion chamber and formed into granular feed under the action of the cutting device. Finally, the feed is solidified and cooled by the cooling device to obtain the desired product.

Extrusion: when the material is suddenly relaxed under high temperature and high pressure, the water expands to form a gas phase, producing an expansion effect.
Pressure reduction: after the appropriate extrusion effect is formed, the pressure is immediately reduced to ensure the integrity of the product.
Drainage: Finally, the gas in the puffing chamber is discharged through the exhaust system to complete the puffing process.
