How Do You Select Granulator Pellet Machine Line, A Complete Mixed Ration For Sheep And Cattle?

TMR feed mixes roughage, concentrate, minerals, and vitamins in a specific ratio to create a homogenized feed, preventing picky eating in cattle and sheep and making it suitable for large-scale and standardized farming. TMR equipment is mainly divided into vertical and horizontal types; the selection should be based on a comprehensive assessment of the farming scale, feeding method, and site conditions.

For small-scale farming (50-100 head), a vertical TMR mixer is recommended. Its advantages include a compact structure, small footprint (only 3 square meters), and low cost (approximately 30,000-50,000 RMB), making it suitable for fixed-site feeding. When selecting a model, pay attention to the number of mixing blades; prioritize equipment with 6-8 blades to ensure even mixing. Also, confirm whether the equipment has a weighing function to accurately control the ingredient ratio and avoid nutritional imbalances. The disadvantage of vertical equipment is a slightly longer mixing time (15-20 minutes per batch), making it suitable for scenarios with low feeding frequency.

For medium-to-large-scale farming (over 100 head) or free-range farming, a horizontal TMR mixer is preferred. Horizontal TMR mixers, using dual-propeller blades for forced mixing, can quickly and evenly mix raw materials with varying moisture content, such as silage and hay, achieving a mixing uniformity of over 95%. For free-range farming, a towed horizontal TMR mixer can be selected, pulled by a tractor to each feeding point, integrating mixing, transportation, and feeding into a single process, reducing feed transfer steps. When selecting a model, pay attention to the unloading method; a side-discharge structure is recommended for convenient and precise unloading into the feed trough, minimizing feed waste.

Selection Considerations: 1. Raw material compatibility: If silage constitutes a high percentage (over 40%), choose equipment made of corrosion-resistant materials to prevent corrosion from acidic silage substances. 2. Power matching: For towed equipment, ensure the tractor's power meets requirements (typically 50 horsepower or higher). 3. Maintenance: Choose equipment with detachable blades for easy cleaning of residual feed, preventing mold and contamination. Furthermore, the mixing volume of the TMR equipment must match the scale of the farm. Assuming each cow requires 15-20 kg of feed per day, ensuring the equipment runs 3-5 batches per day is sufficient to meet demand and avoid overcapacity.
