How To Select The Appropriate Animal Feed Pellet Production Line Configuration Based On Feed Type

First, let's look at aquatic feed (fish and shrimp feed). The core requirements are "water-resistant and fine-particle size." A fish meal pelleting production line must be equipped with an "ultra-micro grinder" capable of grinding raw materials to at least 100 mesh; otherwise, the pellets will easily scatter. It also needs a "dual-shaft conditioner" for more thorough mixing of steam and raw materials, increasing pellet water resistance by three times; they won't scatter even after soaking in water for 5 minutes. The pellet mill must use a "fine-hole ring die" with a hole diameter of 1-3 mm to fit the small mouths of fish and shrimp.
Next, let's look at livestock feed (pig, chicken, and cattle feed). Pig and chicken feed needs to be "soft but not loose." An automatic pig feed production line only needs a "general grinder" (80 mesh is sufficient) and a "single-shaft conditioner." Cattle, sheep, and other ruminant animal feeds contain a large amount of straw, requiring a "coarse fiber grinder" to grind hard straw into powder, and also a "forage mixer" to prevent straw from settling at the bottom and causing uneven mixing.
Pet food (cat and dog food) has higher requirements, necessitating the addition of a "meat pretreatment machine" and a "flavor spraying machine." Fresh meat is first minced and dried, and after the pellets are cooled, they are sprayed with chicken or beef flavored oils to attract pets to eat. If both fish and shrimp feed and pig feed are to be produced, a "changeable die production line" should be selected, where the pellet mill's ring die can be quickly changed, allowing one set of equipment to meet multiple needs.
