What Are The Processes And Main Equipment Of Automatic Poultry Feed Pellet Equipment?

The new Poultry Feed Production Line is designed with "high efficiency, continuous operation, and cost optimization" as its core principles. It operates as a streamlined production line from raw material processing to finished product delivery, primarily encompassing four modules: raw material pretreatment, mixing and preparation, pelleting, and finished product processing. The equipment configuration for each module is tailored to the specific growth stages of the poultry.
The raw material pretreatment stage is divided into three parts: cleaning, grinding, and extrusion. Poultry feed ingredients mainly consist of corn, soybean meal, and wheat bran. Corn first undergoes a peeling machine to remove the husks, then a drum cleaning screen removes dirt and stones, achieving a 98% impurity removal rate. Soybean meal, due to its high hardness, requires coarse grinding (20-30 mesh) using a hammer mill, followed by fine grinding to 40-50 mesh using a roller mill, ensuring both digestibility and reduced energy consumption. For chick feed, some ingredients (such as soybeans) require extrusion processing. Extrusion at 120-130℃ destroys anti-nutritional factors, improving feed safety. The screw speed of the extruder is controlled at 200-250 rpm to ensure uniform extrusion.
The mixing and conditioning stage is crucial for nutritional balance. Adopting a "large to small" batching principle, bulk raw materials such as corn and soybean meal are conveyed to a large-capacity batching silo via a screw conveyor, while premixes and trace ingredients such as vitamins are precisely measured using a micro-batch scale. Both then enter a zero-gravity mixer. The mixer's load is controlled at 70% of its effective volume, and the mixing time is 3-4 minutes. The weightlessness created by the counter-rotating dual shafts ensures uniform mixing of the raw materials. The conditioning stage uses a double-layer conditioner. The first layer introduces low-pressure steam (0.1MPa) to preheat the raw materials, while the second layer introduces high-pressure steam (0.3MPa) to raise the temperature to 85-90℃ and maintain humidity at 15%-17%, preparing for pelleting.
The pelleting and finished product processing stages prioritize efficiency and shelf life. A ring die pellet mill is used. The ring die aperture for broiler feed is 3-4mm, and for layer hen feed, it is 4-5mm. The gap between the pressure roller and the ring die is maintained at 0.1-0.3mm to ensure a smooth pellet surface. After granulation, the granules are conveyed to a cooler via a bucket elevator, where a combination of air and water cooling is used to lower the temperature to room temperature within 15-20 minutes, controlling the moisture content to 11%-12%.
Qualified granules are then screened out by a grading sieve, while unqualified fragments are returned to the crusher for further processing via a recycling system. Qualified granules enter the finished product silo and are automatically packaged in 50kg bags. The packaging machine is equipped with a weight detection device to ensure that the error per bag does not exceed ±0.2kg. The core equipment of the entire Customized Poultry Feed Pellet Production Line must have continuous operation capabilities; for example, the crusher's hourly capacity can reach 5-10 tons to meet the needs of large-scale production.
