Why Does The Vibration Of A Fish Food Making Machine Increase Over Time?

content

Cause of vibration: The core issue is "decreased precision of parts". This is a common problem in old pet food manufacturing equipment. Just like old shoes will become looser with wear, equipment parts will inevitably wear out over time. First, wear on the screw and the die cavity. This "golden pair" originally fits tightly with a gap of less than 0.1 mm. After long-term extrusion of raw materials, grooves are worn into the screw threads and the inner wall of the die cavity, increasing the gap to over 0.5 mm. During rotation, the screw wobbles from side to side, directly causing high-frequency vibration in the machine body. Second, the surface pattern of the pressure roller wears down. New pressure rollers have anti-slip patterns of 1-2 mm depth, firmly gripping the raw materials and driving the ring die. Once the patterns wear down, it's like walking barefoot on ice; the friction between the roller and the ring die decreases drastically, causing slippage. This results in inconsistent force, causing machine vibration. Third, wear on the drive belt. New belts have anti-slip patterns. After long-term stretching and friction, the patterns become shallower or even disappear, making the surface smooth. During operation, slippage occurs between the motor pulley and the drive pulley, causing the speed to fluctuate and creating irregular vibrations. This vibration is also accompanied by a buzzing noise.

Solution: Addressing wear issues requires a case-by-case approach. Repair minor wear, replace severely worn belts. When the screw and cavity wear is minor, a metal wear-resistant coating can be used. First, clean the worn area with sandpaper to remove oil and rust, then apply the coating evenly with a thickness of 0.2-0.3 mm. After drying for 24 hours, it can be used. This method can extend the life of the parts by 3-6 months. If the dry dog food making machine is severely worn, such as the screw thread being worn down by half or obvious pits appearing on the inner wall of the cavity, it must be replaced with new parts. Don't worry about the cost; using it as is will cause the new parts to wear out quickly, resulting in more unnecessary expenses.
