Clean the machine cavity before and after each use. Residual old feed will clump and stick to the cavity walls, mixing with new feed during the next extrusion by the fish feed pellet maker, causing speckled pellets. Use warm water and a bamboo scraper for cleaning, avoiding scratching the cavity coating. After making fine pellets like shrimp feed, use a special brush to clean any residue from the die holes.

 

Regularly inspect the pressure rollers and ring die. Increased gaps between them will cause pellets to become loose, especially noticeable with fish fry feed. Measure the gap with a feeler gauge, maintaining it between 0.1-0.3 mm. Replace any worn parts immediately. Lubricate the bearings weekly to prevent uneven pellet density caused by malfunctions.

 

The temperature sensor of the floating food making machine should be calibrated monthly. An inaccurate sensor can lead to temperature malfunctions, causing fish feed to scatter due to insufficient temperature, and pet food to lose nutrients due to excessive heat. Label the calibrated sensor to ensure accurate parameters each time. Proper maintenance will result in uniform pellet size and a pass rate exceeding 95%.

Our technicians will also visit regularly to resolve various technical malfunctions and provide long-term on-site guidance on equipment operation and routine maintenance.
