Moisture. Among the various factors that affect the quality of pellet feed, conditioning is the most critical factor, and water absorption is more important than heat absorption in the conditioning process, so moisture is particularly important. The ideal conditioning moisture range is 15% to 5%. However, in actual production, the moisture content of finished pellet feed is often difficult to meet the design requirements of the formulator. For most feed mills, the moisture content of finished pellet feed is usually around 11%, while the moisture content of submerged fish feed is even lower, perhaps only around 9%.

At present, the best pellet feed moisture optimization control equipment is a fully automatic online moisture control system. The system uses microwave oven technology to scan the moisture content of the mixing bin material in real time, and intelligently configures a mixture of liquid mildew inhibitor and water based on the difference between the actual value and the standard value, and sprays the material by atomization. The system can remotely monitor and control the moisture content of the material around the clock to achieve accurate conditioning and moisture control of finished pellet feed.
In addition, the weighing sensor system is also one of the mainstream moisture control systems. The system has a high-precision weighing function, which can automatically batch and mix ingredients, set different formulas according to the moisture content of the raw materials, and ensure that the moisture content of the finished pellet feed is stable at about 5%.
