The extruded and steamed materials are sent to the puffing area of ​​the extruder. In this area, the materials are subjected to instantaneous pressure release. Since the materials have formed a compact structure during the extrusion and steaming process, when the pressure suddenly drops, the water vapor in the materials expands rapidly, rapidly expanding the volume of the materials. This process is the puffing process, and it is also the most critical step of the feed extruder.
