When using a feed pellet machine, farmers may wonder whether they need to change the feed formula. In fact, the feed pellet machine can process a variety of raw materials including corn and bran, and keep the original ratio. If the proportion of roughage in the feed formula is large, it needs to be adjusted appropriately to avoid too much powder in the pellet feed. The recommended ratio is 3:2 of concentrate feed and roughage.

Before commissioning, clean the equipment and remove the debris left during installation. Ensure that the steam pipe system has decompression and drainage functions to provide dry and saturated steam. Before starting the pelletizer, adjust the distance between the roller and the ring die to the optimal state, usually 0.1~0.4MM. When starting the equipment, gradually increase the material and steam until the ideal feed rate is reached. At this time, the motor current should be 85~95% of the rated current.

Before installing the feed pellet machine, you need to be familiar with the process flow of the production line and the functions of each equipment. Before debugging, check the operating status of the equipment one by one to ensure that the crusher matches the pellet machine.
The recommended particle size distribution is as follows: ≤1% above 3.35mm, ≤5% above 2.0mm, about 20% above 1.0mm, about 30% above 0.5mm, no less than 20% below 0.25mm, and about 24% above 0.25mm.
