The New Animal Air Cooling Tower, also known as a countercurrent cooler, is called so because the direction of discharge is opposite to the flow of cold air. The particles exiting the pelleting section are high in temperature and moisture, making them unsuitable for storage. These particles are fed into the cooling box from top to bottom through a closed air feeder. Once they reach a certain height, the loading level device is activated, and the motor is turned on.

Cold air then flows from the bottom of the box upwards, coming into contact with the high-temperature, high-humidity materials. This heat exchange process effectively cools the materials and reduces moisture. The countercurrent cooling method prevents the sudden cooling and cracking that can occur when cold air directly contacts hot materials, ensuring better particle quality.
