How can you guarantee stable output from an automatic poultry feed machine?

Poultry feed production is characterized by large batches and fast pace. Cattle feed maker machines often need to run continuously for more than 8 hours. Key operational considerations include addressing issues such as feed blockage, overload, and decreased efficiency. The focus should be on achieving stability, high efficiency, and low cost.
Feed control is crucial to preventing feed blockage and overload. Poultry feed ingredients primarily consist of corn, soybean meal, and wheat bran. These require pre-sorting and grading. Corn needs to be free of stones and impurities, soybean meal needs to be ground to 40-60 mesh, and wheat bran needs to be passed through a 20-mesh sieve to remove lumps. The moisture content of the mixed ingredients must be uniformly adjusted to 13%-16%. Too low a moisture content can generate dust and cause blockage, while too high a moisture content will cause the ingredients to adhere to the inner wall of the extrusion chamber. An automated feeding system is required, linked to the extruder via sensors. When the internal pressure exceeds 6 MPa, the feeding speed should be automatically reduced; when the pressure is below 4 MPa, the speed should be appropriately increased to ensure uniform feeding. Sudden increases in feed rate are strictly prohibited during cattle feed production machine operation, and the raw material formula should not be changed arbitrarily. If a formula change is necessary, the residual raw material in the machine must be emptied first, followed by a small-batch trial feeding to avoid clogging caused by differences in the characteristics of different raw materials. Furthermore, an anti-jamming device must be installed at the feed inlet, automatically activating the vibration function when raw material accumulates to prevent bridging.
Parameter adjustment and efficiency improvement considerations must be tailored to the poultry's growth stage. When producing chick feed, the extrusion temperature should be controlled at 90-100℃, and the screw speed at 180 rpm to ensure soft and easily digestible pellets. When producing adult chicken feed, the temperature should be increased to 110-120℃, and the speed adjusted to 220 rpm to enhance pellet hardness and satiety. To improve production efficiency, the die diameter of the Animal Feed Pellet Mills can be optimized to 3.0-4.0 mm, and a multi-hole die design can be adopted, increasing the number of die holes by 30% compared to ordinary dies, thereby increasing output by 20%-30% while maintaining pellet quality. During equipment operation, the die head needs to be checked every hour. If the die holes become clogged, they must be cleaned promptly with a special cleaning needle. When cleaning, the internal pressure must be reduced first to avoid injury from material spraying. In addition, efficiency can be improved by optimizing the cooling system and using a counter-flow cooler to quickly cool the high-temperature extruded particles to room temperature, thus shortening the production cycle.
