It is wrong to think that adding water in the expansion process is wet expansion and not adding water is dry expansion. Wet puffing machine is a dry puffing machine on the basis of the increase in the tempering device, the purpose of which is to: raise the material temperature, soften and to cook the material, supplemented by a certain amount of water. Wet puffing than dry puffing high efficiency and spiral, puffing chamber wearing parts of long service life, the reason is: if the material puffing temperature of 130 ℃, dry puffing from room temperature (20 ℃) to 130 ℃ need to heat up 110 ℃; if the wet production, tempering temperature of 80 ℃, only need to raise the material temperature of 50 ℃, therefore, wet puffing mechanical energy needed less than dry puffing, more energy can be used to improve production; due to the material, the tempering device to soften and to ripen the material, supplemented with a certain amount of water. More energy can be used to improve the output; due to the softening of the material, reduce the wear and tear of the spiral, expansion chamber and other wear parts, improve its service life.

Start-up inspection confirms
Spiral shaft and bearing lubricant, oil pump motor rotation direction is correct.
Taper plug is adjusted to a minimum distance of 3-5mm from the end screw surface and the piston can be operated at maximum stroke.
Start the hydraulic automatic operating pump.
Start the head lubrication system with maximum pressure at 6 bar, start the lubricant pump for the expander bearings and turn on the cooling water for the hydraulic system.
Have cleaned out the metal pieces, butter and other foreign objects inside the casing, and make sure that the whole feeding and conveying equipment of the puffer, the puffer itself and the whole inside of the inlet and outlet flow tubes are free of foreign objects. Pay particular attention to cleaning the inside of the conveying equipment of spoils, impurities, etc.; all inspection doors and holes, etc. closed; to ensure that all other related equipment are able to work in good condition.
Close the air inside the set immediately when steam is discharged. Start the main motor of the puffer after the equipment is preheated to about 90℃; check that the puffer is running smoothly, with normal vibration and sound; observe whether there is any loosening of the steam nozzles and shear pins.

In the case of forced feeding to the expander and high temperature and high pressure steam, soybean embryo pieces in the limited space of the chamber by strong mixing, heating, extrusion, gluing, pasting effect, which produces structural changes in the organization, transformed into puffed material. Expansion further destroys the cell structure of soybean to improve the leaching effect; increase the capacity of the leaching material to increase the production capacity of the equipment; improve the quality of the leached oil; reduce production costs.
Safety points: transmission equipment; hot equipment and piping surfaces; dust and impurities; pressure vessels and piping (compressed air, steam, hydraulic oil); falling from height; noise; spraying of material and bursting of equipment parts; slippery floors.
Follow the start-up inspection procedure to check the expander feed winch, expander and other equipment.
Start the tempering tower before and after soybean discharging, start the puffing material drying and cooling equipment before starting puffing.
Start the ancillary dehumidification system, and then start the main equipment; conveyor equipment chain start; start the equipment in the opposite direction according to logistics. Puffing machine start to have employees on the scene, two intermittent start.
