The mixing of raw materials improves the homogeneity of the various particle size components, which helps to maintain the consistency of pellet hardness and improve product quality. The mixing process is a very mature process in some companies. In pellet feed production, adding 1% to 4% water to the mixer can improve the stability and hardness of pellets. However, it is very dangerous to add water in the mixer of pelletizing machine. It must be adjusted according to the moisture of raw materials, weather changes and other influencing factors to ensure that the moisture of the finished product is within the safe range, and clean the mixer at the end of each day, otherwise the finished product may be moldy and oxidized.

Pellet mill machine
Pelleting machine is the main equipment in the process of feed pelleting. According to the working principle of granulator, it can be divided into two categories: molding machine and extruder. The protection system of pelletizing machine consists of overload protection, safety magnet, pressure chamber door cover protection switch, and off-machine discharge.
Overload protection refers to when a foreign object suddenly enters between the mold and the pelletizer roller, the extrusion pressure suddenly rises above the normal pressure, the roller stops rotating or rotates around the mold spindle, which together drive the original static spindle, and snap off the safety pin. At this time, the travel switch work, cut off the power supply, so that the motor rotation, to ensure that other parts of the machine is not damaged, play a role in overload protection.
"Safety magnet" means that when metal magnetic impurities are mixed into the material, they can be removed by the safety magnet installed on the mixer shell of the granulator. The safety magnet is a stainless steel enclosed type with high life and reliability and can be quickly removed by means of a handle.

When the door cover protection switch of the press chamber is working normally, in order to avoid the door cover of the press from opening, on the side of the door cover, the travel switch disconnects all the control circuits of the pelletizer, so that all the pelletizer stops rotating or cannot be started, so as to ensure the safety of the personnel.
When pulling the external discharge handle, the chute can be rotated and the material from the press will flow into the outside of the machine instead of into the press chamber. It is mainly used for the normal work of the granulator before the test machine and in case of emergency discharge fault. After normal work or troubleshooting, press the unloading handle to reset the chute and discharging material normally.
