Description

Large fish food extruders are large extruders used in large food factories and feed mills. They are very large (occupying 5-10 square meters), with a power of 15-50 kW. They can produce 2-10 tons of finished products per hour and can work continuously for 24 hours. They can also be connected with other machines (crushers, packaging machines) to form a production line, requiring less manpower.

The principle is the same as that of a small extruder, but it is more complex: the raw materials are first poured into a large hopper by an automatic feeder, and then enter a twin-screw extruder (which mixes more evenly than a single screw extruder). The barrel is heated in several sections (temperature accurate to ±1℃), and the pressure can also be automatically controlled. After extrusion, the material is cut into the desired length by a cutter, then cooled in a cooler, and finally automatically packaged. The whole process requires almost no manual labor.
