Mini Fish Feed Machine

Mini fish feed making machines are small in size, typically occupying less than 1 square meter, easy to operate, and moderately powered, mostly driven by 220V household voltage. They are mainly used to process grains, protein raw materials, etc. into floating or semi-floating aquatic extruded feed pellets, suitable for the feeding needs of fish and shrimp in aquariums, small fish ponds, shrimp ponds, and other scenarios. They are a "mini simplified version" of traditional large industrial extruders, yet can meet the feed self-production needs of small-scale aquaculture.

1. Raw material pretreatment: First, grind corn flour, soybean meal, fish meal, and other raw materials into a fine powder (to avoid large particles clogging the machine). Mix them evenly according to the specified ratio. A small amount of vitamins or minerals can be added according to the needs of the fish and shrimp.

2. Feeding and Heating/Pressurization: Pour the mixed raw materials into the feed inlet of the mini floating fish feed machine. The rotating screw pushes the raw materials into the machine cavity. The machine cavity is heated electrically or by screw friction, creating a high-pressure environment (temperature typically 100-140℃, pressure 3-6MPa) in a sealed space.

3. Expansion Reaction: Under high temperature and pressure, the starch in the raw materials gelatinizes fully (becoming viscous), the protein denatures, and the moisture in the raw materials evaporates rapidly, generating bubbles, causing the material to expand in volume and become loose in texture.

4. Extrusion Molding: The expanded material is forcibly pushed by the screw into the die holes on the die head, extruded according to the die shape (round, thin strips, etc.), and then cut by the cutter provided with the sinking fish feed machine to form uniformly sized expanded pellets. After cooling, they can be fed directly.
