1. Before starting the machine, carefully check whether each lubrication system has been filled with lubricating oil. Usually, the main engine gearbox has been filled with lubricating oil when it leaves the factory, but after the user's equipment is debugged, the lubricating oil that adapts to the local climate conditions should be replaced. It is recommended to use barreled oil from regular manufacturers.
2. The lubricating oil should be changed under hot engine, that is, when the equipment is finished running, the oil should be drained while the oil temperature has not cooled down. After draining the oil, open the upper cover of the gearbox to manually clean the residual sludge and other impurities in the gearbox, and replace the filter element of the gearbox oil inlet filter.
3. Pour an appropriate amount of diesel into the gearbox to clean the gearbox repeatedly, cooperate with manual cleaning of residual impurities at the bottom of the gearbox, and manually rotate the input shaft to clean it repeatedly two to three times. After cleaning, add an appropriate amount of lubricating oil, and the lubricating oil level should not be lower than the central red dot position of the oil window.
4. In the future operation, the oil level changes need to be checked every shift, and replenished in time if it is insufficient. Check whether the circulating oil cooling system is operating reliably and ensure that the lubricating oil is replaced every 500-1000 hours of use, or every one to two months depending on the frequency of use.

4. The box bearings should be filled with lubricating grease in time, and all lubricating grease should be replaced once after 500 hours of operation (a proper amount of lubricating grease should be added before the new machine is operated, and the oil should be changed after 200 hours of operation);
5. Since the wearing parts of the food puffing machine near the discharge port wear relatively quickly, the wearing parts near the feed port are less worn, so when replacing the wearing parts, they should be replaced in sequence starting from the discharge end, and it is not suitable to replace multiple parts at one time.

When operating the extruder in summer, the maintenance and cleaning of the machine should be strengthened. Clean the machine regularly to keep it clean and dry. At the same time, check the cooling system of the machine regularly to ensure good cooling effect. This can effectively avoid excessive head temperature and reduce the risk of material backflow.
The air humidity is high in summer, which can easily cause the material to absorb moisture and aggravate the problem of material backflow. Therefore, the air humidity around the extruder should be controlled to keep the room dry. The air humidity can be controlled by adding dehumidification equipment and strengthening ventilation.
When operating the extruder in summer, the downtime during the production process should be minimized to ensure continuous production and avoid adhesion of the head during the stitching of the production line, which will cause material backflow. In addition, you can also try to increase the capacity of the machine, reduce the production cycle, and improve production efficiency.
