Before starting the pelletizer, the distance between the roller and the ring die should be properly adjusted. Usually, when the ring die rotates, the roller should be in a state of seemingly rotating but not rotating (that is, the distance between the roller and the ring die is about 0.10.4MM) to avoid direct friction caused by the small distance between the ring die and the roller, thereby slowing down wear and improving production efficiency.
When starting the pelleting equipment, the feeding amount should be avoided from reaching the maximum instantaneously. It is recommended to gradually increase the amount of material and steam added, and after a transition period of about 5-10 minutes, gradually adjust the feeding amount to the ideal state.

If the pellets have axial cracks or radial cracks, and the powdering rate is high and the yield is low, this is usually due to insufficient tempering temperature and insufficient maturation of the material. At this time, the tempering temperature should be increased and the steam volume should be increased. In addition, the cutter position is too far or the blade is blunt, which may also cause the pellets to be broken or torn instead of cut normally.
