Animal Feed Extruder

A basic, general-purpose feed pellet extruder is a machine that fluffs up raw materials such as grains, beans, and potatoes using high temperature and pressure. For example, putting corn kernels in will produce crispy corn sticks; putting soybean meal in will turn it into fluffy feed that chickens and ducks love. It has a simple structure and is easy to use.

The principle is simple: the raw materials are poured in through the feed inlet, and the screw in the fish feed making machine pushes the raw materials forward. When the raw materials are pushed into the barrel, the barrel is heated (120-180℃) and pressurized (like squeezing toothpaste). The starch in the raw materials gelatinizes, and the water turns into steam. Finally, the raw materials are squeezed out through the mold hole. As the steam escapes, the raw materials become fluffy. After cooling, they become a crispy finished product.

It is almost undemanding in terms of raw materials: grains such as corn, rice, wheat, and millet; legumes such as soybeans, black beans, and soybean meal; tubers such as dried sweet potatoes and potato starch; and it can even be mixed together, for example, corn and soybean meal can be used together to make feed, and rice and sesame can be used together to make snacks.
